Our negotiations with the Oeauatr our quite successful! They give us Shira III, a planet that has a Mob Center! The citizens of Shira III seem upset at the change of governments, thinking that our empire won't be able to protect them from the Ithkul. We deploy one of our new nuclear powered long-range attack cruisers to protect the planet.

GC 99.0
As we look back on our first 100 cycles of freedom, we can see a long struggle ahead. The latest Senate census (taken in conjunction of the elections of 97.5) still ranks the New Orions as the most powerful empire in the galaxy, with 3 large planets with a total population of 148 million and a rapid advance towards reclaiming the technology level of Antares. The next most powerful empire we have information about is the SL-071-CYYL; although rumors place 4 empires on the rim in power between the New Orions and SL-071-CYYL with 13 planets, a level of technology just slightly ahead of our empire's, and population of 141 million. The Equalaaleq are the next most powerful, with 12 planets, a slightly more advanced technology than SL-071-CYYL, and a population of 110 million. The Pcharao are next, with 9 planets, a level of technology comparable with our empire's, and a population of 88 million. Next is our empire, with 10 planets and a population of 107 million. Just behind us in power is Sangnnro with 11 plane ts (on the other side of Fieras), a technology level comparable to ours, and a population of 62 million. The hated Ithkul empire of Kimont has only 9 planets under its control, a technology somewhat behind ours, and only 44 million citizens. The weakest empire is Oeauatr, with 7 planets, a technology similar to ours, and 48 million citizens.

We are at war with SL-071-CYYL and Kimont. The Meklars have not fired a shot at Eoladi ships, but Kimont conducted a raid on Shira III in GC 91.5; both Kimont ships were destroyed with minor damage to Breath of Fire . We have non-aggression pacts with with Pcharao and Sangnnro; and defensive alliances with Equalaaleq and Oeauatr.

Our scientists have recently discovered the secrets of Sub-Light warp drives and Mobile ground forces.

The New Orion's lock on the Senate was confirmed again in GC 97.5 when they were re-elected to the Presidancy.

GC 132.0
All Eoladi were sadden by the death of Loknar, who was so instrumental in leading our scientists, in GC 103.5. In GC 114.0 Urekasst Sararar joined the high council, but he won't replace the ancient Loknar in our hearts.

We have sent ships to Xoth to assist Oeauatr in fighting the Ithkul. Breath of Fire was destroyed by ground-based fighters in the assault on Xoth IV; the rest of the combined fleet is making the Ithkul pay by relentlessly bombing the two Kimont planets in that system.

In GC 124.5, our reconnaissance ship Galactic Ring exploring Pcharao space was attacked by a fleet of 22 ships. The crew managed to activate their jump engines just before enemy missiles hit; the fleet has apparently learned the lesson of the Eye of the Planet . The information Galactic transmitted indicates that the fleet was from a barbarian empire of Sakkra called "Yorgrar." Both the Nommo and the Trilarians have warned us to be wary of these Saurians.

In GC 126.0, we sent Wind of the Stars "off road" from Shira clockwise around the rim in the hopes that it can find more planets suitable for our colonization. We also sent Nebula Seeker "off road" from the Solacka system to scout a system blocked by Orion.

The New Orions won the Senate Elections of 130.5 again. The rest of the senate is still to weak to challenge them.
