Stand-Off Armada Design

Creating stand-off fleets of indirect fire in combination with 2 battleship (or larger) sized carriers allows for a large number of fighters/missles for an opponent's escort PD's to target and destroy. Either they will target the fighters and not focus on the missiles or vice versa.

This can also be applied to a "balanced armada" that includes LR, IF and carriers. Ensure that the picket ships and escort ships have 1 rack of small missiles for a alpha strike of fighters and missiles.
