Ever since they betrayed me the first time i befriended them, and every time after that i've did my best to exterminate them from "my" galaxy as quickly as possible.

Observation: If the silicoids take 2 hours to move 50 meters, how could they possibly win a ground battle? Or even a space battle? Especially in the event of a surprise attack...

Human: Time to get mined!
Silicoid: Give me an hour and we'll see who gets mined!

I suppose your perseption is entirely based on teh race you play, since that will determines who will stab you in the back.

For me, as an aquatic race player, I find the Grendral make me just plain angry.
Every damn time I ally with them, everything is fine and happy, then some stupid Silicoid race shows up and doesn't like me. At that point it is simply a matter of time until the Grendral turn on me ... and always in the worse way ...

I am writing up an AAR for my current game. When it is done I will post it. Bastereds attacked my home system with over three hundred ships just out of the blue ...
I know why they did, it was just unexpected at that point ...

I hate the Grendral! Next time there will be no alliances with them ...

The Meklar are nice guys though. Always so helpful, but their idea of a fair exchange is awful. I have never received, or had them except, a reasonable deal. Other race, no problem, the Meklar? Not a chance.

Well you see, an Saurien .. spelt that wrong.. anyway, any of the Reptile races will hate the fish races (sorry for the vulgarness there lol) because they shared a planet, but fish forced the reptiles to leave the water and live on the few pockets of land that their homewlrd had, so eventually, they left the planet with a huge grudge and hate the fish!!!

So although the grendarl, one of the most distant to the original sauriens may trade and even ally with you at the start, their people will as a rule, start to hate you just by talking to you!!! So keeping your distance is the best rule till your ready to wipe em out!!!

The sakkra will prob never ally with an aquatic race!!!

Wish I had known at the very beginbing, our empires are so completely intertwined at the point of the backstab that it is extremely difficult to eraddicate them from my systems. I have taken and lost several over the 10 cycle war (haven't had time to play much lately).

Worse yet, they managed to get everyone to declare war on me. Sure that lasted only a single cycle, but I lost all teh trade agreements and a couple wanted to stay at war.

Funny part is, the guys I was origonally at war with are now my strongest supporters and the guys I thought would never turn on me and my worst enemies

As a huge "Diplomacy" boardgame fan, this is just fantastic

Wow I havent been back here for a while. Dusted off the old copy of MoO3 the other day and liking it so far. Some of the mods around are really cool and fix up a lot of the problems that were around before.

Nothings changed though, I still hate the geos, I'm currently exterminating one at the moment.
