Anyone out there know where I can download a working copy of pedxing's Chocolate mod v 0.999? I looked in his mod thread in this forum, but the links are so old that the files have long since been deleted.

Also, I've recently reinstalled MoO3 and was wondering if there are any other nifty mods out there that are new? I see that there are still a few active posters on this board, so I'm crossing my fingers here. I was a semi-regular commenter and AARer on the Atari board, so really looking forward to re-experiencing this game again. Thanks in advance!

The member danib has a link in his signature to mods and he keeps things up to date. You might try there or wait because he does drop in here and post still.

Thanks Kahuna. I saw the links in danib's signature last night and went to town, d/ling the Chocolate and latest Tropical mod. Chocolate is installed at the moment, as I've been reading a lot about how it mods the game to a kind of MoO2 "pre-warp" state at the beginning. Really looking forward to seeing how it plays.

Hi Kahuna,
How are you?
The place isn't visited much now is it?

And even though I've updated my Atari acct twice I still can't access the New site. tongue.gif

Been testing and debating a Mod for Civ IV called Caveman2Cosmos. It's a continuing work in progress. Version 24 was released this month and work on the pre v25 has already begun testing and bug fixing and balancing. It's a monster of a Mod, over 2GB in size.

I still have a folder full of MoO3 mods and mod parts. I saw someone asking for Poptoads Mod. Kind of surprised it was never put on this site. I have it and can EM it.

Which brings up a question: can mods still be introduced here, added to the Mods section? And if so how do you go about it?

Great to hear from you Joseph!! PM Bladefist and he can hook you up about the mod section. We get people wanting to learn more about the game from time to time and also the occasional blast of bots trying to annoy us here so it keeps going,,slow but sure.. like us smile.gif
I didnt see any point of continuing going to the Atari acct since they made it so difficult to access or add new information...sort of like pushing us out the door I felt so I hung here and keep the bots from getting a foothold and annoyed Bladefist enough with it so he hired me to sweep the floors and bots out and I try to answer the occasional questions or pointing peeps in the right direction when I can. I'd like to see more of you here and others too that used to hang here. smile.gif

It would be nice to see some "old faces" post. I see danib is still pluggin' along with his version of tropical. I actually had EM and facebook contact with Colt374 for a short time several years back. Bhruic never answers an EM but his MoO3 Patcher site is still up and still taking paypal donations. I still have an old EM addy for pedxing but have not tried it for sometime either. And Tom Holsinger also ask to be a friend on facebook. But I don't use it (facebook) very often.

Bolo and zeraan were both making MoO clone games but not being able to access the old/new atari site has cut that line of communication off too.

If I hang out here much I think I'll get the itch to Mod again, or at least finish the personal RaceMod I started years ago.

All the old Dwarf Cove Pirates have mostly scattered too. A few still frequent the DwarfCove forum but that has dwindled down to about 5 ppl now.

So Many memories.... smile.gif
