I would like to get this MOO2's multiplayer working. The problem is that one machine is Windows 7 and there is no IPX protocol supported by Microsoft nor Novell. People asked for this on numerous forums to no avail. There was this client called Kali but it's servers are dead. On wikipedia it says that it was working in 2009 but I don't know how to run it. Anyone had some success?

Any solutions? I would be damn helpful!

You really should buy the GOG edition of the game...runs like a charm.

I still play Moo2 a lot, played it a lot until I got sick of it and wanted to give moo3 a second shot.

"Hey man your not alone... In someways I think Master of Orion 2 is better than MOO3. Except the A.I is pretty useless, all it does is EXPAND towards you, Start Wars, Destroy anything in its way. MOO 3, though flawed, has a better A.I biggrin.gif"

Yeah, I would just send one transport in Moo2 and a frigate and take the A.I. colony, thanks for the free colony. Can't do that in Moo3, well not as easily.
